Learn Create Teach
I started out in photography in 2007 photographing textures for 3D planets using Photoshop and Lightwave 3D, after a long-time creating space art I hit a rut. I realized that I didn’t “love” creating space art and was only creating it to pass the time.
In 2016 I photographed a Zebra jumping spider in my back garden, since then I was hooked on macro photography and wanted to learn all I can about it. I had done macro photography before, dandelion clocks, and so on but this jumping spider image captivated me and so the love of the macro world started and I needed to pursue it.
In 2018 I decided, with encouragement from friends and family to create my macro YouTube channel in hopes of inspiring other photographers to try out macro photography.
Macro Photography - See the unseen!
I'm always learning new things and when I do, I post a new video about it!
I love to teach and I love to do presentations online or in person.
If I can't find an item to help in my photography, I create it!
Stewart is one of the most talented macro photographers I have ever worked with. Not only can he take really nice macro pictures, he also knows about lenses really well. He is not shy of giving us constructive feedback and make us a better company. It has been my absolute honour working with Stewart and he is my go-to guy when it comes to new product ideas.
We worked with Stewart Wood as an influencer - a specialist in the field of macro photography. The materials that he prepared for us were always perfectly metrically prepared and contained a large dose of knowledge both about the technical and artistic aspects related to this type of photography. They have always enjoyed great interest among their recipients.
